How we started

Oh, let me share my love for souvenirs with you! Whenever I travel, I can't resist bringing back something special to remember my adventures. Souvenirs have this wonderful way of capturing the essence of a place and creating lasting memories.

During my journeys across the globe, I've collected a wide range of keepsakes that hold sentimental value. But one day, I realized something was missing—souvenirs that represent my beloved hometown, Sleepy Hollow, NY. That got me thinking: Why aren't there more local shops offering fun, high-quality, and unique Sleepy Hollow souvenirs that celebrate our legendary town? I even struggled to find a sweatshirt to show off my hometown pride. That’s when the idea for The Horseman's Shop was born. With the help of my brother and niece, we set out to make it a reality.

As lifelong residents of Sleepy Hollow, we truly appreciate how special this place is and how much it means to our diverse community. From the beautiful riverwalk to the delicious restaurants and the accessible nature trails, Sleepy Hollow has so much to offer. And, of course, there’s the unique energy that comes with the fall season, when locals and visitors come together to celebrate our town’s rich history and the legend of the Headless Horseman. The strong sense of community is what makes Sleepy Hollow truly magical, and we wanted to create a business that reflects and celebrates that spirit.

Our goal is to share our love for Sleepy Hollow with everyone, whether you’re a local or just passing through. With our carefully curated selection of Sleepy Hollow-inspired gifts, apparel, and souvenirs, you can bring a piece of the Headless Horseman legend home with you.     FOUNDER & MARKETING STRATEGIST

    Hi! I'm a born and bred Sleepy Hollow native and an alum of Sleepy Hollow High School. I graduated from the University at Buffalo (Go Bills!) with a Bachelor's in Political Science, with a concentration in International Relations.

    I’m a proud dog mom to Luka, my 8-year-old mini Australian shepherd! There's nothing better than exploring new places together.

    When I'm not hanging out with Luka or working, you can find me planning my next adventure abroad. I absolutely love traveling and believe that it broadens the mind and helps us understand the world better. That's why I am passionate about bringing a piece of Sleepy Hollow to visitors from all over!

    OPERATIONS MANAGER

    Hello! I'm Cristian, a proud alum of Sleepy Hollow High School, class of 2013. I'm thrilled to be partnering up with my sister and niece in this exciting venture, The Horseman's Shop.

    When I'm not working alongside my family to bring a piece of Sleepy Hollow to everyone, I spend my time helping people with their insurance needs at a local office. It's fulfilling to know that I can help people protect what matters most to them.

    Hey everyone, I'm Elizabeth! I may be the youngest member of our team, but I bring a creative spark that's hard to miss. I absolutely love arts and crafts! When I'm not busy crafting, you can catch me on the softball field, playing in our local little league. It's all about teamwork and having fun out there! I'm super excited to be part of this family venture, and I can't wait to share my creative ideas with all of you.
